ACT I

I think that Cassius believes he has good intentions for the Roman public. However, Cassius isn't basing his opinions on facts, just what he assumes. Also, he doesn't believe Caesar is any different from him, "I was born free as Caesar, so were you" (34). I believe that a leader is made, not born so to me, the fact that they are both born the same doesn't matter. Caesar could have become a leader through his experiences. I personally do not like Cassius because he is just assuming that Caesar will be a bad leader, and he is going to act on his assumptions by killing him, which is completely ridiculous.
